Cattelan Italia's designs are a dialogue between the past and the future. Fine furniture born from a relentless pursuit of design that transcends time. Where innovation meets legacy.

The essence of Cattelan Italia's craft lies in the alchemy of transforming wood, glass, leather and metal into functional art. Always with a reverence for tradition, yet each piece of furniture is a bold statement of contemporary life.

The story of Cattelan Italia is also a family tale, beginning with Giorgio and Silvia Cattelan and now carried forward by Paolo Cattelan. Their vision has expanded beyond Italy, reaching into homes and spaces worldwide. Redefining the essence of Italian craftsmanship in the furniture industry, just as they have always done.

1. Butterfly Table

Cattelan Italia’s Butterfly Table speaks of nature's elegance and human ingenuity. Forged by the minds at Nucleo+, it is an emblem of innovation, where function and art converge.

Both the original and the Butterfly Keramik Table can cater to intimate gatherings or grand feasts. Seating anywhere from six to a host's dozen. The table's base—a steel rendition of a butterfly's wings—bends and curves with a grace that softens the tough material in a captivating play on strength. The choice of titanium or bronze finishes, or the earthy tones of the Marmi ceramic, speaks to a palette that is both diverse and discerning.

A piece that does not just fill a room but transforms it, demanding the eye and commanding the space.

2. Tyron Table

Paolo Cattelan crafted the Tyron Table in 2020. Expanding into a family of tables since then, each is a fusion of heritage and forward-thinking aesthetics. A testament to the enduring narrative of Italian design.

With the Tyron Wood, organic texture reigns. Every top of walnut or oak is one-of-a-kind. Unique, individual pieces that speak to well-worn paths of style and substance.

The Tyron Keramik is a fortress of design. An enduring celebration of Italian creativity, marrying the practical with the opulent. Offering a choice of size and finish, with many ceramic surfaces available. From the pale grace of Alabastro to a deep, thoughtful Portoro. Each telling a story of beauty unmarred by the passage of time.

The Tyron Keramik Premium rises as the pinnacle of the series. Its base a nexus of metal. A sturdy support in a spectrum of metallic hues. From the cool touch of titanium to the warm dignity of bronze.

Each Tyron Table is a verse. Every material a nod to tradition. Each design choice a step into the future.

3. Skorpio Table

Conceived by Andrea Lucatello in 2014, the Skorpio Table has matured from a lone idea into a family of designs. Each reflecting the audacious spirit of the original.

Each table's surface tells a story of resilience: the original glass, pristine and transparent; the wood variants, rich with the life of the forest; the keramik, unyielding and timeless; and the CrystalArt, a vibrant spectacle of color and creativity. Each version offers a different dream woven into the fabric of daily life.

The Skorpio’s legs, sculpted from embossed lacquered steel, anchor it firmly in the present. With finishes that mimic the earth's raw elements—titanium, bronze, graphite, pearl and black. It is a celebration of Italian craftsmanship and a bridge between chapters of aesthetic heritage.

The Skorpio does not occupy space; it defines it, with each curve and angle inviting light to play across its form, creating a symphony of shadows and brilliance. The Skorpio is a centerpiece, a gathering place, a canvas for life's moments.

4. Magda Chairs and Barstools

Supported by the finest materials in the world, so you know your Magda will age gracefully with style.

The Magda Wooden Bar Stool and Chair boast a rounded form, their silhouette a nod to the organic curves found in nature. The back, slightly arched, and the back legs, angled with care, offer generous support that will not falter. The upholstery—available in textures from fabric to soft leather—promises comfort that lingers. The wood frame, with its array of finishes from ashwood to matte black, speaks of the earth and the trees, of growth and strength.

The Magda ML Chair, with its wider seat, extends an invitation to sit and stay awhile. Elevating the line, the Magda Couture Chair and Bar Stool wear a diamond-quilted backrest, a pattern that catches the light and the eye. Perfect for contemporary design lovers who value form as much as function.

The Magda collection is not just a series of chairs and stools; they speak to the enduring connection between Italian craftsmanship and the daily act of living.

5. Rhonda Chairs

The Rhonda collection by Cattelan Italia, envisioned by Luca Signoretti, is an assemblage of seating that entwines sophistication with purpose. Within this suite—the Rhonda Lounge, Dining, and Wood Chairs—each piece is a unique narrative in the anthology of contemporary seating.

The Rhonda Lounge Chair, with its swiveling base and round seat, is a modern take on comfort, designed for the welcoming spaces of a home. It stands on legs of titanium or bronze, among other finishes, with a presence that is both substantial and graceful.

In the dining room, the Rhonda Dining Chair offers a rounded embrace. Its form is a balance of softness and structure, the gentle folds of the backrest playing against the firm frame that contours the body. The materials speak of strength and sophistication, available in finishes and colours to match any room's character.

The Rhonda Wood Chair's legs lend an organic, comforting feel—bringing the warmth of ashwood or the depth of walnut to any space in need of earthy splendour.

Together, these Rhonda Chairs stand as proof of the Italian mastery of crafting fine furniture.

6. Arena Coffee Table

Yasuhiro Shito's Arena Coffee Table and Arena Long Coffee Table capture the essence of contemporary Japanese design, while paying homage to the meticulous craftsmanship of its Italian roots.

Both Arena coffee tables stand on a base of black embossed steel, their tops a canvas of Bronze or Grey. With a brushed metal finish reminiscent of well-worn linen. An effect Italian artisans achieve with great delicacy by hand. Adding a layer of depth that marries intrigue with utility. Ensuring the feel is tactile but subtle and smooth to the touch.

The Arena's metal top is flanked by a rotating satellite of glass. A remarkable double act to stage life's smaller spectacles. Supporting you in any kind of mood, whatever the occasion.

7. Sting Coffee Table

The Sting Side Table, designed by Paolo Cattelan in 2017 is a beacon of versatility, making it a seamless addition to any living space. Starting with the Sting’s legs. Slender as reeds in shades that echo the earth—titanium’s soft gleam, bronze’s muted warmth, graphite’s depth and the starkness of black steel.

The Sting can stand alone or nest with others, creating a tableau as varied as the company it keeps. Its stature ranges in three heights, allowing for a terrain of levels and a harmony of function and form.

The ceramic option is a mosaic of the natural world, from the dark veins of Portoro to the vibrant patterns of Zefiro. Proving popular, the ceramic option soon gave rise to the Sting Brushed Side Table. Boasting a steel top that artisans brush by hand, each stroke adding to its unique character.

The Sting, in its essence, is a gracious servant to the ebb and flow of daily life. Designed to stand the test of time and taste.

8. Cocoon Desks by Cattelan Italia

In the hands of Paolo Cattelan, the Cocoon desks are designed with a simplicity that belies their sophistication. The Cocoon Leather Desk stands firm on crossed legs of steel, its surface a swath of tactile pleasure that invites you to linger. A desk that understands work is more than toil—it's craft, it's care. No surprise, then, that the metal curve at its back is not just for show.It is a practical flourish for your pens and tools. A deft touch that speaks of Cattelan’s thoughtfulness.

The Cocoon Keramik sibling shares the same strong bones but trades leather for the coolbeauty of Calacatta’s marbled grain. Or the dark mystery of Portoro. Ensuring the Cocoon Keramik desk doesn't just stand in a room; it anchors it, lending weight and presence. Much like its Cocoon Trousse companion. Fitted with a metal framed vanity mirror, the Trousse defines any space with its grandeur and refinement.

Every Cocoon desk is a chameleon. They fit where they're needed, from tight corners to open spaces, serving as stations for work, reflection, or preparation. Adaptable fixtures of a home. Pieces that carry the weight of the everyday and the promise of the exceptional. In these desks, the line between the utilitarian and the aesthetic is not just blurred—it's erased.

9. Nasdaq Desk

Paolo Cattelan designed the Nasdaq Desk in 2014, drawing on that fine Roman tradition that blends the robust with the elegant. Starting with its top, in rich woods like Canaletto walnut or heritage oak, resting on a base of stark graphite steel, cutting a diagonal through space that defies the ordinary.

The Nasdaq's design is straightforward, but singular: a workspace broad and open, paired with a drawer that seems to hover, suspended in air. It's a desk that understands work is more than just necessity—it’s a ritual.

Customisable in size and finish, the Nasdaq Keramik Desk adapts to the user, the room and the task at hand. Whether you opt for the smaller or the larger desk, you have a steadfast companion for everyday thought and productivity.

This desk is a slice of Italy's legacy, a piece of the modern world that doesn't forget the past. A reminder that even in the simple act of sitting down to work, there is a depth of history and a weight of culture that supports us.

10. Vega Desk

Giorgio Cattelan's Vega Desk is a stalwart of elegance. Marrying the grace of clean lines with a sharp, contemporary aesthetic. With a governing presence, the Vega Desk speaks of power and purpose. Whether you opt for the cool, industrial allure of stainless steel or the living warmth of wood, Vega is a steadfast ally to the focused and the resolute.

The Vega Desk's underbelly of matte graphite forms a quiet backdrop. A visual pause that underscores the desk's clean lines. Upon the desk’s surface, an optional leather pad can lie in wait. Another statement of refined comfort. Subtle opulence for the diligent. Available in a range of hues, your new leather pad promises a soft landing for the day's toils.

The desk's true merit lies in its ability to evolve. With an additional tier, Vega becomes an L-shaped command center. Swathed in fine leather, the mobile drawers bring the tools of the trade within arm's reach. A practical cavalry on wheels.

The Vega is more than a desk—it is a nexus of ambition. Its dimensions tailored to the scope of one's dreams. Purposefully attuned to the rhythm of work and the pulse of productivity.
